Neon Captivity
We have never been so connected and, at the same time, so isolated. Digital life makes communication easier but also changes our attention, emotions, relationships and perception of reality. These works explore a person gradually enclosed within a digital environment of their own making – between constant connection and loneliness, access to information and anxiety, virtual presence and disconnection from reality. A horse placed in human circumstances creates distance and absurdity, allowing familiar patterns of behaviour to seem strange when seen from outside.
